Rubix Events
Rubix Events (formerly known as 'Rubix Mobile Discos') have been entertaining since 1999 and over that time have built up their experience, we are always determined to provide great quality sound, lighting and entertainment to all our happy customers. Rubix have performed at Chinawhite in London and have done several events for over 1,000 guests. We've developed a reputation across Europe having played in France and Switzerland.
Tom
As Rubix co-founder Tom has been helping to shape the business from the word go. Tom handles all Rubix bookings and customer service and will likely be the first person you will hear from when you get in touch. Throughout the build-up to your event Tom is your single point of contact to make sure everything is in place for the big day. At the event, Tom uses his technical theatre background to make sure that our setup is eyecatching as well as functional, helping to blend colour schemes so that we're an extension to your decoration, not the exception to it! Tom is also no stranger to a microphone and can be a courtious and professional host or MC for any event.
Chris
As the main Rubix DJ and co-founder, Chris has been mixing tunes for the better part of his life. He has a record box of over 10,000 party songs and music knowledge spanning five decades. Chris learnt to DJ by working as an assistant to some great DJs during his teens and has picked up many of the skills used by club DJs along the way. Chris' mantra is that as the customer, you should have complete control over the song played rather than being told what to listen to. To that end, Rubix has a unique request system not rivaled by any other mobile DJ compnay.
Anoop
With Anoop joining the Rubix team in 2013, Rubix are now able offer a whole new range of services. Being a Process Engineer by trade, planning and efficiency are hard coded into his way of thinking, which he can now apply to help plan your event. Photography has been in Anoop's family for decades, with his father taking pictures from his teens in Africa, to weddings in the UK, where Anoop has been on hand to learn vital skills. More recently, Anoop has been studying event photography to ensure he is up-to-date with latest techniques to ensure your event is captured in a professional manner.
